RIGHT AGE FOR BHAKTI

Posted by meenakshi in

-:-RIGHT AGE FOR BHAKTI-:-
‘BHAKTI ’is continuous remembrance of GOD, not being distracted by any thought, and connecting a link with the almighty, always, everything and everywhere. But as has been a myth till date, BHAKTI with god is regarded to be a duty. This is commenced only in the later years of life. If one gives a thought over it, is it justified?
When all you know is our medicines, hike in the prices of vegetable or criticizing the government, your grandchildren or your family. With the mind distracted in so many things, with your body surrounded by ailments, can one really devote some quality time in remembering ‘GOD’ .isn’t it strange, when one believes that old age is the time to do BHAKTI and when you get old, you think there is still lot of work no one, but you can do.
Now, taking a retrospective glance in the ‘ADOLOSCENT’ age. The juvenile soul, running in the race of life, hardly even finds time to stop and think about ‘THE ONE’ with whom’s strength your life is improved. They feel as if they are their own MASTERS, but tend to forget that the REAL MASTER is GOD. Pacing high in the spirit to rule the world & this gradually turns you avaricious.
And as years pass, this agility decreases and there lies the responsibility of a family’s upbringing awaited. This phase of life is also explicit of these features. One is so engrossed in these activities, that the thing of substantial importance is somewhere lost. Where do you have time to remember the almighty.
Now comes the foremost stage of human life, the childhood. The age where one is pure at heart, innocent, only learns and understands what is taught & no responsibility. It is the age where the soul can be moulded as desired. Prudently observing the different phases, one can infer that this is the opposite age where one can develop platonic love with GOD. As can also be seen by looking into the history, great saints, dhruv, prahlad, naamdev, all stared their BHAKTI from the very initial ages.

SELF CONTROL

Posted by meenakshi in

-:-SELF CONTROL-:-
he is the most powerful man who has mastered himself. great laws of the universe have to be understood and mastered before a spacecraft can be built, launched and sent into the depths of outer space on its speedy and silent journey to the moon, bearing the load of scientific instruments and crew astronauts for bringing that orb within the domain of man.
god is not prepared to fulfill the desires and dreams of man by miraculously transporting him in the twinkling of an eye from the fertile landscape of the earth to the barren surface of the moon. he has, however, gifted man with intelligence and enabled him through diligent study, observation and  experiment to discover and comprehend certain scientific laws enabling him thereby to achieve his goal- the conquest of the moon.
there are also spiritual laws which, if recognized  and observed, can transport man from this mundane world to the blissful realm of heaven; but man must take the initiative if he wishes to succeed, bearing in mind that god helps those who help themselves, just as the successful flight of a spacecraft is dependent upon the controls which direct its multifarious operations. so, does the spiritual flight of man depend upon the inner quality of self- control.

-:-SOME ONE IS ALWAYS WATCHING YOU-:-
Once a saint and few devotees were sitting in a room. Saint said to his devotees that my daughter’s marriage is coming. So you bring some money and give to me. But remember when you bring money there should be no one seeing you doing this. Next day all money was collected. All of them gave the money except three devotees.
The Saint asked them-why didn’t you bring the money?
They said-we are very poor, we can’t give the money.
The Saint said ok. You don’t give me money but bring some thing.
Third day, among the three only two brought. One didn’t bring.
The Saint asked-why didn’t you bring the things?
The devotees replied that-you said bring money only when no one is watching you. But god is always watching me. So how can I bring the money?

HOW GOOD IT WOULD HAVE BEEN?

-:-HOW GOOD IT WOULD HAVE BEEN?-:-
A man saw a flower and said, “Flower-o-flower, how beautiful you are, but how good it would have been if you never processed thorns”. Then the man saw a nightingale and said,” nightingale-o-nightingale, how sweet your voice is, but how good it would have been if your colors wasn’t dark”. Then the man saw an ocean and said, “ocean-o-ocean, how deep and huge you are but how good it would have been if your weren’t salty.
Then after some years when that man died and reached god. God said to him “man-o-man, how intelligent and hard working you are but good it would have been if you don’t have ego and habit of pointing on other.” The man realized his mistake and felt very ashamed.
MORAL-:- the moral of the story is that we should not point on other and find their wrong thing and should not have ego.
